On-Lot Sewage Disposal System (OLSDS) program

Sewer District No. 3 pumping cycle June 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020

TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS IN SEWER DISTRICT NO. 3

Notices were sent out in the Spring of 2019 to all property owners in Sewer District No. 3 advising them that they had until June 30, 2020 to have their septic systems pumped and inspected.  Information regarding the OLSDS program was also published in Londonderry Township’s 2019 Spring and Fall newsletters which were mailed to every resident in Londonderry Township.  Both newsletters are available on the Township website.  Reminder notices will be sent out in the Spring of 2020 along with a list of certified pumper haulers. Only a certified pumper hauler can perform the pumping and inspection.  A list of certified pumper haulers is also available on the Township website.  Once the pumper hauler has completed the pumping and inspection, he will complete a report, collect the $25 administrative fee from the property owner and forward both to the Township.  Checks or money orders must be made payable to Londonderry Township.  Please remember that all property owners within Sewer District No. 3 must have their septic systems pumped and inspected between June 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020.  Reports received by the Township dated after June 30, 2020 or without the $25 administrative fee will not be accepted and citations will be issued for non-compliance.  Citations were issued to 100 property owners in Sewer District No. 1 and 2 who did not comply before the June 30, 2019 deadline.  Don’t let this happen to you!  Don’t wait until the last minute to have your septic system pumped and inspected!  Please remember that this is a requirement mandated by the DEP and required by state law.
